When someone subscribes to your publication, Cantabook sends them a welcome email from you automatically. It's a nice way to say hello, tell new readers what to expect, and point them to a few posts worth starting with.
You write it once in your publication settings, using the same editor you write posts with. That means you can use headings, bold text, links and images. You can change it anytime, and the new version goes to everyone who subscribes after that.
Keep it short and personal. A few warm lines in your own voice usually work better than a long introduction.
